Meet the ’18 Mentees: Lauren Dubowski

The ALTA Emerging Translator Mentorship Program is designed to facilitate and establish a close working relationship between an experienced translator and an emerging translator on a project selected by the emerging translator. The mentorship duration is approximately one year. The emerging translator is expected to choose a project that can be completed in a year’s time, and they will only be advised on that particular project.

Translation Events at AWP 2017

The Association of Writers & Writing Programs conference (AWP 2017) schedule is live! To make it even easier, we’ve put together the list of translation-related events that you can look forward to attending at the conference.

The conference will take place from February 8 to 11, 2017, and is being held in Washington, DC, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center and the Marriott Marquis Washington. We hope to see you there – visit ALTA at booth 212!
