September 14, 2023—The American Literary Translators Association (ALTA) is delighted to announce the 2023 shortlists for the Italian Prose in Translation Award (IPTA), Lucien Stryk Asian Translation Prize, and Spain-USA Foundation Translation Award (SUFTA)!

The America Literary Translators Association (ALTA), in collaboration with the Scoundrel & Scamp Theatre in Tucson, AZ, is excited to announce the winner of the 2023 Plays in Translation Contest!

September 1, 2023—The American Literary Translators Association (ALTA) announced today the longlists for the 2023 National Translation Awards (NTA) in Poetry and Prose. 2023 marks the 25th year for the NTA, and the 9th year to award separate prizes in poetry and prose.

The American Literary Translators Association (ALTA) is delighted to spotlight the judges of the 2023 awards!

We are honored to have these judges serving in 2023 on the panels of the National Translation Awards (NTA) in Prose and Poetry, the Lucien Stryk Asian Translation Prize, the Italian Prose in Translation Award (IPTA), the Spain-USA Foundation Translation Award (SUFTA), and the ALTA Travel Fellowships.
