Study Literary Translation This Summer at the Bread Loaf Translators’ Conference!

This June, don’t miss your chance to study the art of literary translation in the heart of Vermont’s Green Mountains at the Bread Loaf Translators’ Conference! With an award-winning faculty, it’s sure to be an invaluable experience. Rolling applications are open till March 15.

“The 2022 Translators’ Conference will be held from Monday, June 13 to Sunday, June 19 in Ripton, Vermont.

“Bread Loaf’s faculty are acclaimed and award-winning translators including Madhu H. Kaza and Matvei Yankelevich (Introductory workshops); Kareem James Abu-Zeid (poetry workshop); Peter Constantine, Kaiama L. Glover, and Anton Hur (prose workshops); and Yvette Siegert (mixed workshop including prose and poetry). In addition to their literary accomplishments, the faculty has been specifically chosen for their skill at guiding developing translators in a given genre.

“Other guests from the publishing, literary, and translating world will offer panels, discussions, or one-on-one meetings with conference participants.”
