Shearsman Books Ltd is a specialist publisher of poetry, based in Bristol, England. We concentrate mainly on contemporary writing from Britain & Ireland, and the U.S.A. We also have a large, and growing translation list, with an emphasis on Hispanic and Latin American writing, and we have lists devoted to Classics and to Literary Criticism, the latter devoted to poetry. We tend to be interested in more experimental, radical forms of writing, but do not exclude the more traditional if we think it works. The main aim of Swedish Book Review is to present Swedish literature to the English-speaking world. The Made in Michigan Writers Series, part of Wayne State University Press, is devoted to highlighting the works of distinguished statewide writers to showcase Michigan's diverse voices. To advance knowledge of the contemporary state of communities on the Tibetan Plateau and support the overall effort to ensure the continuity and development of Tibetan culture, people, and places, Trace Foundation engages with individuals and organizations undertaking research to assess the current needs of Tibetan communities, particularly as they relate to minority education, minority-language issues, development models, environmental protection, local histories, and modernization versus traditional knowledge.
