Arizona Translates!
Arizona Translates! is a series of in-person public events held in Tucson, AZ November 4-6 alongside ALTA45. Events include:
- November 4, 7:30-9:30pm PT: Chins Up! Shoulders Back! by Ainur Karim, translated by Ellen Vayner and Slava Faybysh: A Staged Reading and Talkback with the Scoundrel & Scamp Theatre
- November 5, 7:00-8:30pm PT: Read the World: A Kaleidoscope of Translated Literature, a reading featuring the 2022 Emerging Translator Mentees. Livestream available at this link.
- November 6, 11:00am-12:30pm MT: Tour of MOCA Tucson and Conversation with Artist/Translator Lynn Xu
- Plus: Stop by participating bookstore Antigone Books anytime between November 4-6 to check out their special displays of literature in translation!

Access ALTA45 Recordings
ALTA45: Value(s) programming may be ending soon, but you don’t have to miss out on the fun we’ve been having this year! Tickets to access the recordings of all the events we have been hosting since April 2022 will be on sale until December 31.
And if you want to access all ALTA45 recordings, purchase an All-Access Registration ticket by December 31, if you haven’t already!
Remember: ALTA members receive 20% off of all ALTA45 programming. Use the member code sent to you by email (search for “ALTA member promo code”). If you need your code, write to ALTA staff to ask for it. And if you join ALTA or renew your membership starting today, your membership will be valid through the end of 2023.
