Bilingual reading sessions at the annual conference offer participating translators an opportunity to read from recent or current work to an interested, engaged audience of their colleagues. The bilingual readings are coordinated each year by Alexis Levitin. Members wishing to participate should write him at the

When contacting Alexis, you must include: your name; language and country of origin of the author being translated; genre; and short bios (5 lines each) of both the author and translator. Individual readings are limited to 15 minutes; translators who appear with their authors have 30 minutes.

Deadline: Friday, August 25. Participants will be notified by mid-September.
