The main aim of Swedish Book Review is to present Swedish literature to the English-speaking world. It carries translated extracts from the works of Swedish writers, a variety of articles and a wide range of reviews. SBR features not only established writers but also new or lesser-known ones and also includes the literature of Swedish-speaking Finland.
SBR’s coverage ranges well beyond popular genre fiction to include literary fiction, non-fiction, poetry, drama and literature for children and young adults. Its seasoned pool of reviewers is a reliable resource for all those seeking information about new books from Sweden.
SBR is editorially independent, but gratefully acknowledges funding from the Swedish Arts Council.

Hundreds of presses and thousands of writers of short stories, poetry and essays have been represented in the pages of our annual collections.
Writers who were first noticed here include: Raymond Carver, Tim O’Brien, Jayne Anne Phillips, Charles Baxter, Andre Dubus, Susan Minot, Mona Simpson, John Irving, Rick Moody, and mall more. Each year most of the writers and mall of the presses are new to the series. Our Pushcart Prize editions are found in most libraries and bookstores. Each volume contains an index of past selections, plus lists of outstanding presses with addresses. The Pushcart Prize Fellowships is the endowment for The Pushcart Prize, and appreciates contributions in all amount.

In Canadian vernacular, Upper Rubber Boot is slang for a remote, possibly unhip, probably insignificant place, much like America’s Podunk. Upper Rubber Boot Books was founded in July 2011 to give a voice to writers working from a (metaphorically) remote place, and to that end we publish fine literary and speculative writing, with a special focus on poetry and short story collections, genres which have a particularly difficult time finding a home in the publishing world. Bilingual Review Press publishes literary works, scholarship, and art books by or about U.S. Hispanics under the name Bilingual Press/Editorial Bilingüe. We also produce the literary/scholarly journal Bilingual Review. Since its founding in 1973, Bilingual Review Press has been committed to publishing high-quality writing by both established and emerging writers. With almost 200 titles in our backlist, we publish books in English, Spanish, and bilingual format, although most of our books are written in English. Today, Rizzoli in America is an integral part of its Italian parent compall, RCS Media Group. RCS arose from the merger of the venerable Rizzoli publishing house, founded in 1929, with the eminent Italian newspaper, Corriere della Sera, founded in 1876. Rizzoli New York began its publishing operation in 1974 and has become a leader in the fashion, interior design, culinary, art, architecture, and photography fields. Alternative Book Press is a new publishing compall established in October 2012 by Columbia University and Cornell University graduates with the following aim in view: To identify and publish genuine, pathbreaking works reflecting alternative viewpoints far away from the huge volumes of matter in publishing today. Heritage House publishes 20-30 new titles per year. Most of our authors are Canadian citizens or residents, as our mission is to publish and promote distinctive non-fiction works by Canadian authors.

Chelsea Editions has been created with a single purpose—to present the work of important modern and contemporary Italian poets in handsomely produced volumes with facing English versions by award-winning translators.
