The ALTA Endowment

A Brief History

The ALTA Endowment was established in 2000 to provide a permanent source of income to support ALTA's program mission and services. Contributions can be made to the general ALTA Endowment, or individual donors may wish to establish an endowed fund in their name or in memory of a loved one. Gifts can be made in the form of cash; assets such as real estate, stocks, or tangible property; and estate gifts (bequests, trusts). All gifts to the ALTA Endowment are tax deductible.

If you would like more detailed information about making a gift to the ALTA Endowment, please write the ALTA office at UTD or call (972) 883-2093 to request a copy of "A Guide for ALTA Donors."

All contributions to the ALTA Endowment are an investment in the future of literary translation that will continue to bridge languages, ideas, and cultures around the world. Gifts at any level are greatly appreciated.
